This is a fictional story based on the true life events of Cathryn (Jeanes) Seals. She was a wealthy pecan farmer’s daughter born in 1896 who learned to sing and play the guitar at an early age. She obtained her first minister’s license in 1916 and became a traveling preacher across the state of Texas. She married the town bully and they had five children. Their children kept them on their toes for sure. Their dedication to preaching and reaching souls for Jesus was the foundation of their lives and unravels on the pages of this book. But oh the bumps along the way! Life has a way of coloring our years with song and sorrow. But Cathryn’s unwavering faith carries her through even the darkest hours.
